Agreement and Disclosure Statement

You have chosen to become an Online Banking user. This system gives you access to your account and some common teller transactions. Please read this disclosure carefully. Online Banking allows you to perform routine Credit Union transactions and inquiries. The confidential Password used in conjunction with your username enables you to access your account. The first time you use Online Banking, you will be consenting to the terms of this agreement. The only way that you can cancel this service is by written instruction to us to disable this service.

Member Liability
You consent to the terms of this agreement each time you use Online Banking for your credit union transactions. You are responsible for all transfers you authorize. If you permit others to use your password, you are responsible for any transaction(s) they authorize or conduct. You are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of your access device. Any joint accountholder is equally obligated (jointly and severally) with any other such person to meet the terms of this agreement. You are obligated to repay any charges resulting from the use of Online Banking by another person with your permission whether or not the person stays with the limits of use set by you. Any persons who use your Password are also obligated to repay the Credit Union for charges incurred because of their use of the system. You remain bound to pay for charges under this agreement even though another person has been directed to pay the incurred obligation by agreement or court order such as a divorce decree. Online Banking is free and easy to use
Upon approval, this service places your accounts at your fingertips around the clock. You may access your Northeast Texas Teachers Federal Credit Union accounts when it is most convenient for you! Online Banking allows Credit Union members 24-hour access to their accounts through a secure internet link from the Credit Union's web page. Members who enroll in Online Banking can access their accounts with a compatible device.

Limitations
Fund transfers and withdrawals are subject to the terms and limitations of all specific accounts and fund availability. From time to time the credit union's Online Banking services may not be available due to system maintenance.

Documentation of Transactions
Withdrawals and transfers made by using Online Banking will be shown on your periodic statement history and will indicate that the transaction was done using internet transfer. Transactions will be subject to the terms of your membership and loan agreements and disclosures.

For extra security, a Challenge PIN will be sent to either your mobile phone or email address when you attempt the following transactions:

Logging into Online Banking from an un-authorized device

Transaction Charges and Transfers
There are no charges for Online Banking. From time to time charges may be changed and we will notify you as required by law.

Credit Union Liability
If we do not properly complete the transaction according to this agreement with you, we will be liable for your direct losses or damages. However, there are exceptions. We will not be liable if,

though no fault of ours, your account does not contain enough money to make the transaction;
the system was not working properly, and you knew about the breakdown when you started the transaction;
the money in your account is subject to legal process or another claim;
your Password has been reported missing and we have blocked its use;
circumstances beyond our control such as fire, flood, electrical failure, or malfunction of the central data processing facility prevented the completion of the transaction despite our reasonable precautions; or
there are other lawful exceptions established by the Credit Union and you are given proper advance notice of them.

The Credit Union will not incur liability for carrying out your instructions in a reasonable manner. You agree to indemnify and save the Credit Union harmless from all costs, claims, damage or liability it sustains as a result of carrying out instructions received in a reasonable manner. Remember, the best way to safeguard your Password is to store it only in your memory. Don't let anyone have it or see it. Online Banking cannot be used without it. It is given to you as the key to your accounts. Your carelessness in keeping it any place where it can be identified and used by someone else to take money out of your account will expose you to loss of funds that your Credit Union will not cover.

Privacy
We will maintain the privacy of your account information in accordance with our privacy policy as stated on our website at https://www.nettfcu.com/. However we may disclose information to third parties as necessary to: complete transfers; verify funds; comply with government agencies or court orders.

Change to Agreement/Termination
The Credit Union may change the terms of the Agreement by mailing or delivering a written notice of amended Agreement to you at your last known address on our records for the account. You agree we may immediately terminate this Agreement and your use of Online Banking services without prior notice if any of the following occur: (1) you (or any authorized user of your password) breach this or any other agreement between us; (2) we have a reason to believe that there has been or may be an unauthorized use of your password; (3) there are conflicting claims to the funds (4) you or any authorized signer on your account requests us to do so; (5) tying up the system for an unreasonable period of time, or (6) you are delinquent or your account is not in good standing. Access to Online Banking will be disabled: after 90 days of inactivity; or if your account information is not up to date and current.

General Terms
Online Banking transactions may involve other Credit Union agreements such as those relating to checking accounts or loans. Wherever applicable the terms of these agreements shall apply as well. This agreement is governed by applicable law. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the agreement will remain in effect.

Error Resolution Notice
IN CASE OF ERRORS OR QUESTIONS OR UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS
Telephone us as soon as you can if you believe your statement or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a transfer listed on the statement or acknowledgment. We must hear from you no later than 60 days after we send you the FIRST statement on which the error or problem appeared. Tell us your name and account number
Describe the error or transfer in detail
Tell us the dollar amount of the suspected error.

If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within ten (10) business days. We will tell you the results of our investigation within ten (10) business days after we hear from you and will correct any error promptly. If we decided that there is no error, we will send you a written explanation of our position within three (3) days of making our decision. You may ask for copies of the documents that we used in our investigation. If we need more time, however, we may take up to forty-five (45) days to investigate your complaint or question. If we decided to do this, we will credit your account within ten (10) business days for the amount you think is in error, so that you will have the use of this money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation. If we ask you to put your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within ten (10) business days, we may not credit your account.
